Plain Sailing in Schools offers solutions-focused coaching programmes that have been meticulously designed by an experienced teacher, life coach, and former Deputy Head Teacher.

You can work through a programme at your own pace and can explore a wide range of issues by continually re-visiting and reviewing. This is ideal for busy teachers who have little time or financial resources to meet with a coach face-to-face.
You will have the option to integrate one-to-one sessions with your coach on the telephone, via Skype or face-to-face, or if required you can choose more regular interaction and feedback from your coach. You can also choose to embark on a Self Coaching journey, without any interaction from your coach. All this from as little as £35 per month.
The life-changing Plain Sailing in Schools Core Programme enables you to explore the aspects of your teaching job that you would most like to improve. You will define your values, beliefs and vision, and then with your coach develop inspiring goals and detailed plans of action that will help you fulfil your dreams and aspirations.
Here is an outline of the programme:
- Your coach will ask you all about your background and the issues currently facing you in school and then tailor suitable interactive sessions for you.
- You will explore the values and beliefs that are important to you both in education and in your wider life. This will lead to possible options for action.
- You will complete the amazing My Life Mapping Session, which will create a map of your current life in relation to your roles and responsibilities in school. You will then be guided to consider what to do, in order to achieve your goals.
- You will identify your strengths and learn how to work with and leverage those strengths in order to fulfil your dreams.
- You will get in touch with your calling, the reason why you are here, and identify what makes you truly happy.
- You will be guided to help identify your core values and beliefs in education and as a teacher. Once these are clarified, you can make better decisions in order to reach your goals.
- You will examine your vision, beliefs and goal, and then be guided to draw up a plan of action.
- You will choose the area you wish to focus on first, and then build a programme with goals and objectives for short, medium or long term.
- You will experience the incredible coaching tool know as the GROW Model, which enables you to choose your first target and learn how to expand the options available to you.
- You will be guided to routinely assess and report your progress to yourself and your coach, as well as the impact it has had on your life as a teacher.
